The Weizmann Institute of Science is committed to nurturing future scientists and investing in the professional development of science teachers. Weizmann Science Canada encourages students from Canada to participate in the many programs offered to foreign students.
The Weizmann Institute is home to the world’s first inter-active outdoor science museum—the award-winning Clore Garden of Science—which welcomes nearly 100,000 guests annually. Weizmann’s Davidson Institute of Science Education, inaugurated in 2002, provides modern classrooms and laboratories for teacher development programs.

The Institute plays a leading role in Israel’s science education efforts in Hebrew and Arabic speaking schools. Activities range from new curricula, textbooks, games, and computer materials, to science field schools and teacher training. Weizmann publishes learning materials in Hebrew and translates them into other languages, including over 300 science and math teaching materials and educational games and software packages.

Established in 1958, the Institute’s Feinberg Graduate School awards Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees, attracting an international student body of over 700 from Israel, Canada, the United States as well as 23 other countries. The Feinberg Graduate School produces more than 30 percent of Israel’s Ph.D.’s, science graduates, and many of the Institute’s scientists are products of the graduate school.
